Blew part of my income tax on new front and rear bumpers. I'll probably blow the rest on either tires or a bathroom remodel, which do you think?

Hehehe. Actually just dumped the girlfriend that thought the bathroom should be a priority The real issue is going to be whether or not I decide on what tire I'm going to get by them! So many choices, so many threads, so little time!

I've been beaten up for 2 years now on my bathroom and living room protects. I'm supposed to re-tile the shower in one of the bathrooms, and I'm supposed to do hardwood floors in the living room.

She did, however, get me to do this project.
My garage was once a "car port". Had 3 walls, but no doors or front walls.

And then, I couldn't help myself... Had to do the epoxy based floor coating.

Replaced the clutch and rear tires on the electric powered snapper today, and the HD TV will be here tomorrow. And I had to replace the rear tires on the G35 due to wear and a nail, but I bought 4 replacement rear tires right after I bought the car b/c I figured I'd go threw some back tires on a RWD car.

I cut my power steering lines today for the jeep. Hoping tomorrow I'll get to ace hardware for the compression fittings to join them

472, I hope you don't mind us relentlessly hijacking your thread, I swear that when the happy day comes that I do my 5.0L swap I'll post everything on here.
That being said, I made my decisions. Got the bumpers and also got talked into 4 brand spankin new 35/12.50/15 M/T Baja MTZ's! Looks like the bathroom just got back-burnered!

I have lived in Michigan, New York (upstate, not city) and now Tenn for the past 6years and I like it here a lot. AS far as the economy aspect, cost of living here is really cheap which is part of why I love it. I live in Maryville, which is right around Knoxville so if you decide to head this way, left me know and I'll help however I can. Depending on how soon I pay off some debt/if I get any raises and whether other Jeep projects get in the way, you may very well be around to help me with the swap after all. I have been doing a lot of research on building a custom suspension so that and a possible axle swap could very well get in the way of my 5.0L swap.

No jeep news Amos. I've been getting little sleep trying to get x-mas in order. We restored an old play-fort thingy for the kids and yesturday we went and picked it up before I went to work ( heavy to say the least ). On top of that, I'm day 8 of 10 days straight I have to work before x-mas. And the warehouse has been kind of "heavy" since people tend to buy a lot of food for x-mas day, which means I have to stay 9-10 hours to make sure everything in the warehouse runs smoothly, and I'm the only one since my co-workers all take vacations before/after thanksgiving/X-mas. Which is another reason I've been slacking on the jeep. Plus the wifes entertainment center ( I only slept 2 hours the other day before work ). And I had to "re-load" my PC since the new video card for the blu ray player was acting really weird ( all figured out now ).

But, my life should be slowed down after x-mas, and the jeep should get back moving. I was just thinking that I need to stop at advanced on my way to work and buy some 2.5'' piping. At this rate, I could make one cut a day on building my y-pipe and by x-mas comes and goes, I could at least have that major part done.

as far as weather.... .
The coldest its been here in the last couple weeks was last night. Got down to 48 degrees for one day. All the days before that, I'd been daily driving the wife's jeep with the doors off And that includes driving home at 2am-4am in the morning... Has been foggy the last week though But all that's gone, and its supposed to be like 77-78 degrees for x-mas day. We'll defenantly be wearing shorts and short sleeve shirts.

Its 68 degrees in my house right now without any heater or A/C....

Took some quicky shots of the livingroom. As you can see, its not very big, which was my wifes accuse for doing the LCD flat screen. We removed a rather large rear projection style 52''. Hanging that thing about killed me, that are not as light as they look. You can also tell we are "potty training" the baby.

And... Nothing like a nice 46'' PC monitor in the living room.

I still have to build a tray that will hold the cablebox, surround sound, PS2, and center channel speaker to get rid of this table.

Ole yea, and on Tenn. I'd have to live where ever the warehouse is built, but we have family in livingston/sparta/algood. I love going up there ( normally in March at the kids spring break ). Its kind of boring, but that's sort of the point to relax. Good jeep'n up there, and driving the roads are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT then Florida. I can see why all the local street bike guys here drag race, and drive north to hit the corners...

And more off topic pictures from me... My old TL1000R.

Right now, the closest I can get is north-east of Atlanta. We spent a week up there to look at places to live, but I hated the traffic. I didn't like the people. I didn't like the home prices ( they weren't bad compared to current prices as this was about 4-5 years ago ). And while everyone drove like retards at like 20mph over the speed limits EVERYWHERE, there were also cops around every corner pointing a radar gun at me. So you either drove fast and got a ticket or drove slow and everyone tried to run you off the road.

I'd settle for Chattanuga ( or what ever ), but anything above GA that ISN'T as far north as Amos, hahaha. Cost of living is far less up there. My grand parents-in-laws want to move down here, but they balk at the home prices down here.

I have family in Sparta as well (small world) and you are right, not much to do there! I have heard there are some good trails out there though, and I can vouch for the excellent riding roads as well. I currently have a Triumph Daytona 675 and it's my main means of transportation in the summer (sorry TJ but you get a third of the mileage).
