My 06 has never come on since I have owned it. I never worried about it, but I have wondered how to fix it from time to time. This question has just been raised on our local forum here to recently as well.

The only way I know of is with a doubler, and last time I checked that was not a factory option. Neither was an extra low "granny" 1st gear like my old 4spd Chevy..

No, it's not a factory option.

But it is an after market option (Tera-2Low)...

He never said factory option and there are several other ways I can think of. IIRC his is Teralow.
