did you put tranny in neutral?

If you havent already tried this, try putting your tranny in neutral and make sure your jeep is rolling at least 3 miles an hour either in forward or reverse when you do it and then yank your transfer case shifter back into 4lo, should work...hope this helps.

Standard operation for going for getting to 4 low:
1) slow down to 5mph or stop
2) *put transmission into neutral
3) move transfer case shifting lever to 4 low

* on my 02 pushing in the clutch isn't good enough, has to be in neutral to engage or disengage the 4 low.

hope that might help.
