4.56 and Aussie Lockers

After some debate i've decided to buy an Aussie locker for my front dana 30.
I've heard weird things about minor install problems for gearing lower than 4.11's (something like the diff carrier to hold 4.56 gears is larger than higher gears).

Does anyone know anything about this?

Has anyone with a dana 30 and 4.56 gears ever installed the Aussie without any problems??

Thanks.

I have the exact setup on my TJ... no problems with install. The directions were accurate and went really well.

Just a basic Jeep... nothing special.

Not the ones that came with the locker IMO I think I used Stu's write-up when I did my Aussie. Thank God for his write-up and photos. The ones that came with the Aussie might as well been written in Greek!!

No problems with my D30 and 4.56's

It wasn't in Greek. I am sure because i was trying to read it for a couple of hours and it was very hard even for a native Greek speaker
I think has been written in Chinese

Usually only the numerically low gears have install "issues" (3.73 or less)- as in - you might have to take the carrier out of the axle housing to install. It does depend on the axle assembly as the carrier split points are different.
