My first question is how did you not realize the rear end was bad?

Whats wrong with the rear end that makes you think you need a new one?

A junkyard would be your best bet for a new rear end. however some JY's realize their worth and jack the prices up.

I think quadratec sells new harnesses but I think theyre around $500
