4.0L Engine Swap Questions

Hey Guys,

I found a 4.0 out of a 95 XJ with an automatic transmission that I am considering picking up for a little engine swap. How much work would this be, if its even possible without busting your *** to make it work?

I also found a 4.0 out of a 2004 Grand Cherokee with the transmission and transfer case. The prices are right, but how much of a process would it be to make this work?

Thanks,

Mike

Do a search on swaps. It is a lot of work. Complete wiring swap and even grinding off old frame motor mounts and welding new ones on. there are some long lists people have written up what needs to be done from a TJ2.5 to a 4.0. I am sure there are lots more issues when coming from cherokees.
Might as well drop a v8 dodge in there.
