Yes most people hate my bling shiny wheels, but thats okay, they clearly take me where I need to go and still look good doing it. There is to date, still not a single scratch on them. Maybe if someone starts making some nice looking beadlocks I'll make the switch, but to date I have yet to find anything that appeals to me.

Hey thanks Cmoore, I must admit I've read your thread on several occasions and wish I had your skills.

No I don't have those, I've seen them but can't figure out whether they are worth it or not.

Thanks dude, except for the fact that two weeks ago we were out wheelin' and I blew the front gears thus proving the joy of 4x4 with a D30 slung underneath. NICE........very NICE

ya but Murphy's law prevails, cause it happens as I buy a new house, the original plan was for Solid axle HP60's or Dynatrac Prorocks, but now it seems to be about probably repairing this piece of s$%^t.

I can't seem to isolate the issue though, in 2wd it clunks when I turn the steering in either direction. So I'm guessing its the ujoints or hubs? or both? Plus I can rotate the drag link backwards and forwards about an inch or so, side to side its fine. It totally sucks to have to put cash into that D30, oh the woes.

that's probably what I have to do for now sadly. BUt now there seems to be some questions from my local driveline shop that would suggest the issue would be in the rear diff gears. We'll see once its opened up, but what a shame I can't at least find a set of decent 44's, because honestly I think that 60's are overkill for the amount and type of wheeling I do around here.

I know the feeling. I cant find anything in Hawaii. Everything has been used up. Plenty of Chevy 60/14's from the military trucks though.

as much as I wanna put 60's under it, I really have trouble justifying the cost, weight, etc. I seriously doubt I will ever wanna run bigger than 37's for rubber, so Im really starting to rethink the plan and go with 44's. Now the only thing that remains is whether to buy brand new or rebuild a set over time. These days, the prices for any equipment, especially axles and diffs coming out of the U.S. is getting crazy.

But what's your actual question that you need answered, is it that you want the windshield cover to complete wrap all the way to the top?

yes exactly that,i think it should fit the windshield like the short or full rear corners wrap around the corner of the jeep perfectly!!are you happy with it like that?

well I don't have any windshield corners so i don't know, but based on the Genright pics you put up two posts ago, clearly their version doesn't fully cover either.

Honestly I don't see the need for windshield armor, I sorta think that if I'm ever in a position to need it to work, I clearly am rolled over or upside down and have more pressing issues.

I think he's concerned with the giant gap, not the taper.

As for the need... I can see them giving a thick surface for tree branches and whatnot to glide on, but that's about it.
