33x12.50's on Canyons..........Wheel Spacers?
I will soon be putting 33x12.50's on my Sahara's stock Canyons and I was wondering what size wheel spacer do I need? I've talked to a few people and I'm pretty sure the 1.25" Spidertrax are the way I will be going but I see there are ones from 1" to 2" and I just wanted to make sure I was making the right choice. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers are ideal.

So the size of the tire makes no difference at all? In what case would I use 1" or 2" Spacers?

1.25" spacers will work with 11.5" tires and 12.5" tires.

You will need to cut the front stock studs shorter if you use 1" spacer.

What if I went with 1.5", 1.75", or 2" Spacers? I'm going to get the Spidertrax but I'm just wanting to learn about these because I don't quite understand all of this right now. Thanks!

If you go with wider spacers your tires will stick out more. Could be an issue if you have laws concerning tire coverage.. Ie you may have to get new fender flares to be legal.
Basically for every TWO inches wider your tire is over 10.5 you need an additional 1 inch spaced out.
so... 11.5 you technically only need a .5 inch spacer. 12.5 you only need a 1 inch spacer. 14.5 you need a two inch spacer etc. (with stock wheels at 5.5 inches of bs)
It's basically compensating for your wheel backspacing.
Adding a 1.25 spacer will take your 5.5 inches of backspacing in your canyons and basically make it 4.25 inches. Which is enough for 12.5 tires.

Thanks a ton I really appreciate the help. You said 1.25" would be enough for 12.5's but is it the best to get for 12.5's or would 1.5" be better? Just making sure before I click that "submit order" button. Thanks!

The 1.25's will work great for you. Spidertrax are the best.
You don't want to go out any farther because of the stress it can put on wheel bearings etc and also on the spacers themselves. This is why the 1.25's are perfect - they are just thick enough to clear the wheel studs and give your tires clearance but not so thick as to cause undo stress and other safety concerns.

I have spidertrax 1.25 inch spacers on stock canyons with 33x12.50's and I love the stance and the spacing in mho is perfect. Trust me you will enjoy the combo of the wheels, spacers and tire width!
