33/12.5/15 Will it clear W;2' lift? TJ

A guy has a set of four 33/12.5/15 tires at a Great price. And he is local. I was wondering if these will fit my 97 TJ. I'm running a rubicon Express 2' lift and 10' wide rims that stick out pretty far.

If they rub, what will they rub first? I don't mind taking a hack saw to my TJ. I got it for having fun, and that is exactly what I do with it.

The easiest thing to do would be to install a 1" BL and then you will clear them for sure..... Just :my2c: but putting 33's on a 2" lift will be a problem...

Your probably pushing it with 33's. I tend to rub a little on the trail if disco'd and thats only with 31's. perhaps a 1"BL? you gonna be taking it offroad?

What gears do I have? It's a stock 5 speed 4.0. I'm thinking 3.73. Is this going to be a problem for axles?
FYI: Here is how I wheel.

I was just wondering b/c I had heard that you are supposed to keep it running when the exhaust is under water and if I am ever in the same situation I would like to know what to do . Some of these pits in Carolina are a lot deeper than they look.
By the way what happened when you shut it off?

Water then went on up inside my exhaust. I had to tow the jeep out and leave it parked nose up on a hill side. After a while it started and ran fine.

Thanks for the input. I think I'll go ahead and get these tires.

I rubbed a tiny bit with 33x12.50r15 tires on my 2.5" OME HD lift. After I had my JKS 1.25" body lift installed - no more rubbing!

33X12.50 on 15X8 not sure about BS, but stick out further than I want. Extended bump stops and not disconnected. I only rub slightly on the rear flares when fully flexed. If I ever get to add some flat flares, Xenon or Bushwacker, I'll be clear.
