32x10.5

Does anyone know of any tire manufacturer that makes an A/T in 32x10.5. I have only seen 32x11.5 by both Bridgestone and BFG. I have a 2BB with stock canyon rims 15x8 and am afraid the 11.5's will rub.

I dont think your 11.5 will rub on a 15x8 canyon.. I had grizzly 15x7 with 11.5 and it rubbed very little. Even if they do rub a little you can stop that kind of tire rub with a washer or two under each of your two steering stop bolts. Go to http://www.imajeep.com/Steering_Sto...eering_stop.htm for complete instructions on how to do this easy adjustment. -- Thanks to Jerry Bransford --

ur gonna rub your control arms (at full turn) and rear spring perch unless you get wheel spacers. Then with only a bb, if u get wheel spacers, your gonna rub your flares....either get:

31x10.50's
32x10.50 SS
1 inch body to accomadate you 32x11/50s;
or a 1 inch body and 33x10.50's

Frank

PS only look at this if you wheel your jeep, if you dont wheel then youll be fine with 32x11.50s and wheel spacers

My offroad consits of the beach and a few trails. Nothing major. Shortly I will add a 1" BL so I am not worried about rubbing when flexed. I am just concerned with the control arms. It is strange that BFG makes a 33x10.5-15 and not a 32x10.5-15. I guess they don't think the market is that good for them. How bad do you think the rubbing would be in the back without spacers?

Go metric! 285/75/r16 But you'll have to change your wheel size..
Equates to around 33"X11.2

32x11.50's are real close in the back. You might be ok, but you might not, it really depends on the slight variation from tire to tire. Also you just might want the clearance back there for full suspension flex and "mud clearance". Here's a pick from Wayoflife's 4x4xplor.com site showing the "before" tolerances with the stock Canyon rims:

I'd recommend the Spidertrax wheel spacers if you want to run the 32x11.50's on your stock Canyons. With these on the tire extends past the fender flare about 1.5" and broadens your TJ's stance by 4 1/2" for better stablity. Plus you don't need to shim your front steering stops. Here are pictures of clearance with with spacers:

Rear tire clearance with the spacers

Front tire clearance with the spacers

I used to run only a RE 2" BB with the 32x11.50's and the Spidertrax spacers and had no rubbing under full flex. Granted, I did keep my swaybar connected but I didn't have too much difficulty running the trails. If you are going to be installing a body lift soon for full flex clearance then I wouldn't worry around running for a little while with your swaybar hooked up.

Even at full stuff with the stock swaybar the tires never rubbed with the Spidertrax spacers:

While the tires stick out 1.5", they tuck nicely into the fender flares without rubbing

Greetings from another newbie, first post

I've been lurking here for two weeks ever since I purchased my 2002 Wrangler Sport, it's my first Jeep and I LOVE IT! Lupinsea, based upon previous posts of yours I'm modifying mine exactly as you have described. In fact, my Jeep is also yellow and I'm using yours as my reference point for how I want it to look. How's that for flattery?! I've ordered the 2"BB with EMU shock upgrade, spidertrax wheel spacers, and I'll be going with BFG ATs, 32 x 11.5 x 15. My question is: will the 1.5" extension beyond the fenders require wider flares, or might I still pass inspections without them? And I assume I will need adapters for mounting the spare? Didn't mean to hijack this thread, and thanks in advance, this forum is great.

I sure wish more companies made this size. I want larger than 31", but would like the 10.5 size for snow...oh well
