30's or 31's on Grizzly's?

I just picked up a set of Grizzly's for my '05 TJ. I'd like to put 31's on them, but I'm worried that the 7" width of the rim is too narrow. Am I better off with the 9.5" wide 30's? Would there be a substantial difference in how it looks between 30's and 31's?

Thanks

A 7" rim is fine for either 30" or 31" tires.

Ya you'll be fine with either. I'd say go 31s. Not a huge difference but you'll notice the width.

We ran 31x10.5s on the TJ with Grizzly's for probably 10 years.

Tire width is the important factor when asking if a tire fits a wheel, not tire height.

Anything up to 10.50 wide is fine when using Grizzly wheels on a TJ without wheel spacers.

Thanks everyone. It sounds like 31's are the way to go.

Appreciate the feedback.

Heads up - Do some searches in this forum as well as the wheel/tires forum, and you'll see that some guys ran into clearance problems with 31's, which required adding washers to the steering stops to prevent rubbing the control arms.
