2.5" ID sch 40 HREW. Gives a wall of ~.20. for an over all dia of 2.9". Welded to the chunk and knuckles. 4 3/4 rosette welds down each side of the long tube and 2 on the short tube. New pass upper bracket, new 1/4" lower brackets, JJ's for the uppers.
The rest is classified until it's done

I added 400 thousandths to the OD of the tube. (pst, that makes it just shy of 1/2" wall)

My bad, I read too quickly. Now I see it's around .4" wall. Very nice.

SO how do you plan on fixing the main problem of the d30? The ring and pinion?

I've never considered the R&P to be the problem either.....housing rigidity, knuckles and ball joints? Yes.

Is it an HP d30? Its hard to tell from the pics but it looks like a solid build

edit: nvmd i just looked at the pics more closely lol. definitely a nice build, I'll keep my eye on it
