Which 3" lift is best

Hey Ya'll
So I've narrowed it down to 4 kits that look like they are what I want for my 99 TJ SE. Namely, they are 3" kits and are at least kinda reputable companies. But I'm stuck on which is better.

3" Black Diamond lift kit
or
3" Full Traction lift kit
or
3" TeraFlex lift kit (and what shocks should i get if I choose this one?)
or
3" BDS lift kit

Anyone every use either of these and got anything to say about which is better (or which gave them severe problems)?

And where is the best place to get them.

Thanks
"Stitch"

i had the 3" teraflex and bilsteins on a 98 jeep tj that i had. rode way better then stock. i did not have the teaflex arms. just stock control arms. would flex like crazy too. also had their disconnects.

Rubicon Express 3.5 standard kit is only $572 w/out shocks. RE 3.5 Kit I have heard great things about RE, depending on your budget I would check them out.

My vote is for BDS. Had BDS springs on my YJ and they were great. Cant beat their no questions asked lifetime warranty. Will most likely be getting a BDS lift for my TJ in the spring.

I just switched from BDS a couple months back to a Full Traction eco 3', And i should have bought the full traction the first time around. It rides a little more firm, but to me it has a little more flex. For the money, And all the parts that are included in the fulltraction, you cant go wront. I got a little more than 3 out of both, But this kit i am running shocks for a 4inch with proper bumpstops, and its great. Jut my two cents, Good luck with which ever you go with

So it sounds like Full Traction is the way to go. Anyone know where the best place to buy it from is?

The FT kit is giving you more flex because you are using longer shocks.

Check with the vendors on the forum. There's a link in the upper right corner of the page.

Most offer discounts to forum members.

Northridge was advertising they have the FT 3" kit in stock.

I like how complete the FT is, but I think it is very stiff and I got about 4.25" of lift, with the upgraded shocks. However, everybody else seems to get closer to 3" and think it is rather smooth.

We selected TeraFlex for our Project Jeep and have been really happy with the results. We used their 34TR and 34TF shocks. Go with their Modular Adjustable arms.

Here is a write-up..

I dont know anyone who is disappointed in the 3" FT econo kit. I really dislike the name of it. To me econo implies cheap or incomplete, the kit is of great quality and very complete.

i got about 3 1/2 inches fron the FT lift and am very happy with it and whats included with it. I do have a little driveline vibes now even with the t/c drop. looks like a sye is in the near future.
