I bought a 3in zone lift and im just wondering if I need anything that isnt with lift kit I have the alinement cam bolts from my 2in zone bb lift. also i bought quick discos with the two inch im just wondering if i can use those as well.
The quick discos should still work but I would ditch the cam bolts. My experience with them is that they do not hold their adjustment for even a few days. I tried them and ended up welding plates over the slots and using adjustable arms. Does the kit have a T-case drop?
I had that lift and installed a MML instead of the t case drop.I added 3/4" spacers up front for a more level stance and re-drilled the axle side front track bar bracket instead of buying an adjustable track bar.
I;ve had the Zone 3" lift in for a little over a year now. For the most part I am satisfied, the ride is a little rough, but for the most part its good. As far as everything you need, yeah the basics are all there. However, I just ordered a full set of Savvy adjustable CA's because I wanted to get my pinion angles right again. Also, I will be doing the MML and losing the TC drop. I still have vibes with the TC drop.
I didn't use cam bolts when I did the 3" lift, it could use a little more caster in the front but it's good enough for now. I'm going to get some rokmen control arms anyhow. The rear shaft is fine with a mml and stock arms, I have a rubi though.
Well I be ok if I just use the stuff in the kit And get other stuff as I need it down the road
When you doing the install? I should have mine done next Monday or Tuesday. I didn't like the idea of drilling the hole for the trackbar so I got the adjustable front trackbar also. Hopefully that works out.
I will be getting the lift the 11th or so and will hopefully put it on that Saturday cause im going with outback adventure on Sunday. I have the cam bolts on there from my previous lift and I have quick discos that I hope I can still use
