3 inch body lift? pros or cons?

Any bad or good ideas about putting a 3 inch body lift? Pros or cons? What do I need if I need if I get it?

super bad idea! a BL that tall puts stress on body mounts causing bending and breaking, it's going to mess with shifters and steering and also it will look awful with that huge gap between frame and body that you can see from the side. do a 2" BB and 1" BL! it will make for a smoother ride!

I'm moving this out of the YJ Tech section so that the TJ Tech section guys can have a try at it.

There are NO pros to a 3" body lift. Don't do it. That will look terrible, and it will cause problems with your steering, shift linkage, gas filler, fan shroud and I'm sure a lot more things. And I don't think it is really safe.

THERE IS NOTHING GOOD ABOUT A 3" BL. I would say there are very few (if any) benefits of even a 2" BL

If you can get I cheap, then it might be a good deal. Cut it down to a 1 inch body lift.
