3.5" lift with 30's

Hey guys,

I finally saved the funds to purchase an RE 3.5" super flex lift kit for my 04 Wrangler ($717 + 155 for the shocks plus + $95shipping). My question is, will it look ridiculous sitting on 30's with 3.5" lift? In my defense, I only bought the 30's because i needed tires badly for inspection as the GS-A's I got with the Jeep were badly cupped and had 2/32 of tread left. I plan on getting 33's sometime late this summer and will have a few months where I will have a lift and 30's.

If I were in your situation, I'd go ahead and bite the bullet on the lift kit, then just keep it stashed in my garage until I had the money for tires. Then a couple months down the road, throw it all on at the same time.

It will look very strange, get those 33" tires as soon as possible! If you wish to use the original rims and plan to go off road I would recommend 33x10.50 BFG Mts.
Good luck!

This sounds like a solid plan if you have the space to store it.

This is from last night after my bro and I lifted her. The 35's were still at the shop :-/
Anyway, 3.5" RE with stockers (29's I think)

It does look ridiculous. Looks like i'm holding off on the lift and the tires. I have nowhere to store the lift in the meantime. On a side note, you think the RE 3.5" super flex kit is overkill if I don't plan on doing any rock crawling whatsoever. I do trail and mud quite a bit though. Could I get away with the standard kit?

I'd go w/ a 2.5" and 1" BL. Will be cheaper and very functional.

You could, but in both cases you should also order the adjustable front track bar. If you want to spend much less money, get the RE BB, and 32x10.50R15 Interco Super Swamper TSL Radials, they are great in the mud.

I plan on running 33's and I just ordered a 2.25" BB, Skyjacker shocks, and a 1" BL. After the rebate on the shocks I only have about $330 in the lift. Just a suggestion.

If I were you, I would just stuff some 31s either on the factory lift, or a 1BL. Why get the suspension if you are just gonna be cruisin around. If you want it to handle well, then get the OME 2.5" lift kit w/ 31's or 32's and enjoy the the quality ride.

Or you can go overkill and stuff the hell out of some 35s like me...I'll be getting flat fenders (definitely) and higher rears (i think). These are the 35's sitting IN FRONT of the stockers. My bro went and picked them up on his lunch and shot the pic for me. I'm goin back to his place to mount them and finish the lift.
