3/4" LEDs bright enough for turn signal?

im gonna be installing tube fenders sometime soon and i purchased the jk turn signals like recommended in the MCE thread and i also purchased some 3/4" LEDs. ive had them sitting around for awhile now and recently heard ohio does not have a side marker law. i personally think the jk's are a little big for my grill. who has used just a 3/4" LED either on the grill or on the gusset of the tube fender? ive seen a few pics but wasnt sure if its bright enough for a daily driver.

I have 3/4" leds on my rear signals, plenty bright enough day or night.

I put 3/4" leds on my side fender, wicked bright at night.

the JK lights are drill+plug+play, and they are smaller than the CJ parking lamps:
