24v electrical equipment

What's an easy way to run 24v lights off my Jeeps 12v electrical system?

Dual Batteries. It isn't a cheap option but it would work.

Hrrmmm... Two more options here since it's hush-hush!!

DC-DC converters. Sometimes can be more expensive than a dual battery setup. Dunno what the power requirements are yet! But you can find them pretty cheap, no bigger than a pack of CD's for 500w units..

If it's not sealed beam, an option might be to exchange the bulb(s) to a 12v unit.

Throwing some options out... Dual battery would be justified if you've got a winch ready to use it.

Your not getting a 12v and a 24v battery. You'll just run 2 each 12volts.

It's the way you wire them together that determines if you have Double the voltage or double the amperage. The alternator will charge them both at the same time. The trailer taps will feed off a seperate circuit for 24volts..

I can draw this on a napkin.

But can you draw on a napkin riding in a train? Can you draw it on a napkin in a car? Can you draw it on a napkin in a plane?
