Yeah, hopefully I can get everything mounted up this weekend. I'm ready for this f-er to be done!

The interior is filthy from sanding the outside. Its gonna need some heavy duty cleaning.

Mounted the fenders and front bumper yesterday, and today I finished mounting everything under the hood and mounted the rear bumper. Next weekend I will get the corner armor and rock sliders installed.

I LOVE these fenders. MetalCloak really knew what they were doing when they designed these. All of you MetalCloak bashers out there need to see them in person because they really are great looking fenders. I can't wait to get the rest of my MetalCloak system mounted!

Quick poser shot

I only had one class today so I decided to mount one of my corner armor peices. It took about 3 hours with occasional help from my dad. It looks really cool. It balances the fenders really well. To my suprise it fit pretty well considering all of the body work done to that corner. I'm gonna try to mount the other one after I get done with classes tomorrow.

There was a truck in the way so the angles on the pictures were kinda limiting, I'll try to get better ones tomorrow.

So the rear corner with flares doesnt extend all the way to the door? Whats up with that? I hope your going with 37's. Whats the process of taking off the tail lights housings and everything is there a plug or something? Im putting on short corners this weekend.

I'm going with 35's, and MetalCloak only offers their armor like that. Once I mount my sliders I doubt I will ever need that little bit more protection. More weight than necessary IMO.

With taking the tail lights off, first take out the 4 screws holding the lense on. Once you have removed the lense there will be 3 bolts inside of the light bolting the light to the tub. Once you do that, pull the light off of the tub, unplug it, and you are done.

Awesome thats soo easy lol. I just find that spot to be very vulnerable is your going offcamber trails and twistys if you get leaned over too far. Still looks *****in though. What flavor of a 35'' tire you goin with.

35" Goodyear Wrangler MT/Rs. Gotta raise up some money first. Being a college freshman with no job doesn't pay so well. Probably gonna do my suspension first though since I already have a good set of 33" mud tires. I hate the stupid BB it has. Doesn't flex worth a ****.

Yea. You planning on doing a body lift or have you already done one, dont feel like sifting thru pages. I say for being a poor college student, save up for a susp lift and then once you have enough saved when those 33's wear out youll be ready for 35's. Try to spilt the cost with ur folks and then slowly pay them back. Other needs need to be addressed first before 35's go on though. Go with the 2''bds springs.

I will be doing a BL, but it will be done at the same time as a MML and TT, so more money that I have to save up. My dad will be giving me a small portion of the proceeds from selling the TJ I drive now to go towards my LJ, so I'm trying to figure out what areas I'm going to spend it on (most likely suspension, regear, and a locker). My dad wants to use the tires I have now on his TJ once he fixes it so he is going to pay some of the cost of the 35s when I go to buy them. It is definately going to be a stage build, but I want to do everything right the first time.
