2006 rubicon with tapping noise

I've had this tapping noise come about when I hit about 190,000 miles. It is loud when cold but goes to more of an off and on when hot. It will almost go away after a long hwy drive. I've been told it might be a lifter. I was also told to try sea-foam and Rislone. Anyone got any advise??? Thanks

My 4 banger did the same thing and it ended up being a broken piston skirt...

Lifter would be pretty high on the list of suspects. Broken skirt somewhat lower IMO

Have you guys heard of anyone using the rislone stuff? I was told to subsuit it for a quart of oil when I do an oil change. Then change oil again at about 1000. Do it again and noise should go away. I was told it would clean up inside of lifters area.
