2005 6 speed shift fork rattle?
I have taken my 05 to two different dealerships and both told me the rattle in my transmission was the shift fork and nothing to worry about. Its supposed to be "common" in the 6 speed transmission. The rattle happpens when the transmission is in neutral, clutch out. Anyone else having this problem?

I got the same problem, told by two transmission shops not to worry about it unless the clutch starts to slip or not engage. Basically gotta drop the tranny to be 100% sure. I get some weird rattle sound from the clutch area and it gets worse if you rev the engine with the clutch pedal out, push in the clutch and it goes away, also I get some clunks when im shifting 1st, 2nd and reverse.
