The dealer uses the DRB factory tool to do this for them.
Nah the engine would let me run above 3k. I could hammer on it. But flooring it from a stop made it want to cut off. Turns out I just wasn't at correct TDC cause I forgot the OPDA spins at half the speed of the engine. Running OEM sensor and all is good now.

not clocking the OPDA correctly (not at correct TDC) IS what I was talking about. You can use a scan tool (real expensive one) to get it exact.

The Crown looks much better. Glad I waited for someone else to add their version to the market.

I just put in a new Dorman last month but I might replace it with the new Crown unit. It looks much better.

I asked Crown for the part number on their facebook page and recieved this reply:

Quote:
We use the factory number as a reference. The same replacement part# 53010624AC. As long as it is a Crown Automotive product it will be this version. We are not producing a version like the factory.
So as long as it says Crown on it, you should get this new version.

Anybody know the price? Might look into it and keep the Dorman as a backup.

Did the SG mod, then bought the Dorman, and now this! LOL! Well at least someone was listening. Another problem solved by Jeepforum, thank you.

I got my quote from them on Facebook not from their website. Contact them that way and they'll get you straight
