Incredible. Thats all that I can say. I'm a welder, and seeing what you did is impressive. I think i'm gonna start doing alot of my own work as far as armor and what not. I just wish I knew how to set up gears and all that. Haha.... Great work man, it is truely impressive.

Knowing how to setup gears would be nice.

The last couple of days I've been busy building frame supports so I can leave the Heep on the rack. Since my lift is a drive on it really is not made to take entire axle assembly out. I built a center and front support. I found the heavy steel in the back of one of our trucks that was going to the scrap yard.

Today I got the front axle assembly out and placed the 609 in to see what I'm working with.

I have a lot of cutting and grinding to do. Then I can starting mocking up the front 3 link.

Yesterday I plasma cut the old brackets from the frame. Went pretty good and only the track bar bracket took a while.

I grinded the remains of the old brackets. I HATE grinding!

I also got some new to me 17" Champion Beadlock and Goodyear 40" MTRs. I mounted one to see how f'ing big these things are.

Started building the brackets up for the front 3 link. Robert at Genright is a Gem! He is so helpful! Genright kits kick butt! The brackets come with all of the nice braces and gussets to really make a strong system.

This is the driver front bracket that will have the upper and lower control arms. The passenger side will only have the lower so I don't have to worry about the exhaust up front. When I get to the back that's a different story.

Your really getting that rig put together for some serious wheeling. I like it, except for being jealous.

One question, when you had the RE SF kit, did you have any vibe problems?

No vibe with the RE SF kit. I really liked the kit. I did put in a SYE (in the 231) then 241 TC with the SYE.

I just can't leave things alone! MrBlaine has alot to do with it!

Tony stopped by this afternoon, you'll have to swing by and see the cool new stuff he dropped off.

BTW- I swung a tire on the driver's side front. Top of the 37" Krawler is 1/4" above where the flat top of the OEM fender was and you know how far below the rocker the 39" tire dropped.

I also sent the rock rails and comp cut corners back with him to exchange for Aluminum rear comp cuts and possibly boat sides.

The brackets come fuly welded. You only have to decide which side you want the upper one. Then weld up that tab. The holes are predrilled in both.
