The turn around on this is just amazing. I couldn't believe the difference you made in the first couple weeks and now it's a completely different Jeep.
With all the stock parts that get pulled off and thrown away as the aftermarket parts go on while we're building our rigs, it's a genius move to saving thousands up front by buying something in this condition and using the money saved to replace the damaged parts with stronger. Keep up the work! ![]()

This thread is pure EVIL I tell you. Had me now thinking deranged notions of finding a TJ unlimited to fix. Must finish current Jeep first though. lol

Installed a Currie Antirock and love it on the trail. I'm still getting used to it on the road. It definately has more roll onroad but it's managable. I drove from Irvine to the Rubicon Trail and it was fine. Had a great time at the Rubicon with igofsh, seapahn and nikvallens. We went from Loon Lake to Rubicon Springs the first day and hung out.
Next up, Genright 4" stretch with 3 link front and 4 link rear to be installed next. Will be installing the Genright tank and armor as well. Rubicon Nikvallens

SS SYE Question
Hi Dude,
Nice build thread, looks really good, and you saved another Jeep from the scrap heap as well, now That is Treading Lightly!! What did you think of the quality of the Rugged Ridge SS SYE? Did it look well made? I was considering putting one on my Jeep, and was wondering how they hold up? The other option that I was considering was a JB conversions SS SYE. Bye for now ![]()

I no longer have that SYE in the 2003 as I put in a Rubi 241. I was not impressed with it as the tone ring was not held tightly in place. The person who now has it reports that the speedo is erratic and I would attribute that to the magnetic tone ring.
Easy install but installation directions poor and forget support. I called and nobody was ever home.

Hey neighbor...what will you do with your existing shocks and springs? I'd be interested in buying them. I'm in Yorba Linda.

Ok, when are you gonna stretch the wheelbase and swap a v8 in there?
My dad didn't want me taking off my milk jugs and you build your son a rock crawler... XD
