Incredible work in the time taken... I'm impressed...
First time I've seen stock front and tube rear fenders... Definitely paint the doors and the corner guards body colour - leaving the tube flare part black...

I got a good deal on the PSC rear tubes and as soon as my son bashes the stock fronts up he'll have to get some front tubes
I'm still on the fence about paint. I know he's going to get plenty of damage off road so I'm thinking not a good use of what little time I have. I do think it would look nice if I painted the large section of the hard doors and left the smaller upper section where the mirror and handles are black. Then I would paint the windshield frame black. It would make for an interesting two tone paint job. ![]()

Put a big green star on the doors. Then they will match the rest of the Jeep.

I bought my TJ because my Mark VIII was totaled (by a falling branch no less) and looking at the pics of your revival here, I would have to say its safe to assume that I can't toal my TJ no matter what.
Ever.

Great, GREAT, work. That's really one hell of a job. Is that your shop in the background I assume? Do you do own a body shop? Figure you must know alot about this stuff, hell that rattle can job is better than some places "professional" paint jobs.

Been busy having fun! My son had a blast in Johnson Valley this past week. While he didn't do any of the Hammers but he did get to watch alot of the buggies and highly modified Jeeps in action.
We for sure have another Jeep Nut now! I keep thinking to myself "What have I done!" The only things we added since the pics are the LED brake light in the tire carrier, new latch and added a winch. I just cut a piece of 3" EMT and welded it on the plate. Drilled a hole for the wire and stuffed the Kragen LED ($8) in. It stays in fine and is totally protected. I like this simple design because it helps when you have to put the tire on the carrier. You just throw the tire up on the EMT and spin till you find the lug nut studs. ![]() Procomp (geniune steel) front bumper need big holes drilled in it so we could put on the winch plate. Otherwise I would have had to put some spacers to raise it up so the bolts could sit on top of the bumper. ![]()

Nice - really nice work on the green jeep - I would have kept the door black - I used to have a white yj with black doors and everyone thought it was special (but not know why- from those people who did not know jeeps - traded it - too slow for my taste-> 4cyl)
![]() I am wondering though two things - how much time to complete the rebuild so far and cost of the rebuild so far (If I am not intruding)

We still have the black full doors. I'm still on the fence about painting them. One has a minor dent that we'll fix and that might necessitate paint them.
