It is actually closer in design to the original Nth Degree bumper but some 30-40 lbs lighter.

Thanks,

Gerald

The Jeep looks great.

Just curious how the aluminum armor has been holding up

My aluminum corner took a really hard hit (not a Savvy Product) and got a pretty good dent. The dent could have been avoided if I had added some fasteners around the wheel opening. I'm putting a set of our corners on and will document the necessary fastening points. Also the gas filler opening with an extended wheelbase jeeps makes that area vulnerable to damage because ther is very little material left. My gas tank is finally going in the bed so I won't have that problem any longer.

Thanks,

Gerald

I Herculinered the interior and found a new soft top with tinted windows (I really like the tinted windows!) I had some Bestop seats from my 2000 TJ DD

Got a Procomp Bumper and PSC Corner Crushers on
Is this 30x9.5 you got on those aluminum rims? Did you get any turning radius rubbing?

Wow, those pictures bring back good memories. I don't recall these tires ever rubbing. Its been a long time since I had those on there. For that matter, tires that size. I can say with a pretty good degree of accuracy that the 30 x 9.5 and most any alloy wheel will have no problems rubbing.

Thanks,

Gerald

Gerald, Now that you have had plenty of seat time in this Jeep, is there anything you wish you would have done differently?

Good question! The Jeep is fantastic the way it sits. However, to make it even better I plan on doing some more mods.

The gas tank is going behind the seats so we can loose the weight of the skid and have better weight distribution.

The frame control arm bracket are going to be changed to tuck them up and out of the way. So new arms will probably be necessary and then I'll be adding aluminum links to loose more weight and adds some bling.

It will probably be back halfed in the summer so I can easily run the 39" Reds BFG or 40" MTRs and then I can stretch it a few more inches. I'm pretty much limited to 100" with my current setup.

The Jeep currently has the armor off and I plan to replace all of it with polished alum or SS. Basically to showcase our products.

Thanks for asking,

Gerald

thanks, good to hear everything has worked out for ya. I guess there really is no end to building a TJ. Eventually it just turns into a buggy, or close to it

The Jeep is in for a little cosmetic work. Basically, I've decided to polish or chrome anything that we manufacture so we can showcase our products. Totally bling!

So took off the armor

Anybody want some abused stretched corners

Yes! But I can't buy them until after 1/1/2010. I am local, very local, to your shop.

EDIT: Hmmm... re-reading part of this thread, not sure they will fit my LJ. Sorry about jumping in like that.
