The IAC, which is the Idle Air Control Valve's probably your problem..if its not that sensor going bad, it could be your TPS or Throttle Positioning Sensor. Is it throwing any codes?

Did the battery die? I had this happen to me a few times after I completely killed the battery. I had to drive it for a while very carefully until the battery had enough charge to hold an idle.

If you charged and it won't idle the battery is probably bad. The Jeep needs a good strong battery to idle right. Take the battery for testing and I'll bet it's crap.

A lot of Chrysler built vehicles need to relearn idle after a battery dies or is replaced. Start it up and slowly take your foot off the gas pedal and try to keep it running. I've seen them sit and idle for up too 30 min before the idle starts acting normal. If you have ac, make sure it's off.
