2000 TJ wants to stall when shifting from reverse to drive

Hey guys, i have purchased a 2000 Sahara 4.0 auto. I have done some research on this from different threads but have never found a answer to it. The TJ seems to go into the gears just fine but if after driving a short distance shift to reverse it will sort of rev when it hits nuetral if you take it slow and sometimes shake and stall when hitting reverse. It will do the same going from reverse to drive. Slow idle and sometimes stall. Restarts just fine and drives fine if in drive stopping etc. until shifted to reverse or back to drive. I assume it's reversing the engine torque. Replaced the u joints in the rear because of vibration and solved that. Front joints seem fine. Also front motor mounts and that may have helped and the trans mount by watching it with another shifting it see no problems. Checked fluid and added 1 quart following procedure. It seems when I google this is not a out of the ordinary thing with Jeeps and some other makes but have yet to see anybody post the problem unless they never found it. It's not a big deal, I just want to make sure it is not some major problem or could become one. Anyone else experiance this or know the cause? Thanks
