sorry they where too big.. they are there now.. you can see on the third pic from beside the dif theres a few inches difference on the side..

I think im just making something out of nothing lol

Something is amiss, your transfer case output shouldn't be that far to the passenger side and the case looks to be clocked wrong...

Clocked wrong? is it just a possibility that i need to make new holes in the skid plate?

Yes, clocked wrong.

What motor mounts are you using and do you have the transmission mount bolted to the skid plate?...

motor mounts are not in yet. the transmission is not fully bolted but it is with bolts and fully in the holes of the skid plate.

Now the holes are from the skid plate of the 2.5litre so I am not sure if they are the same.. it felt perfect just noticed that after.

its possible that the motor is not high enough as well if thats what you meant... its not in its place.. but the angle of the side to side portion of the t case is. that is what I am worried about

You need to get the motor mounted in place and take another picture...

You may need to try a different trans mount. Even though the trans and TC are the same the trans mount is different. What one are you using?

I know the XJ aw4 clocks the tcase differently than in a wrangler, likely the same with an XJ ax15, the wrangler has a flatter clocking setup.

ok so ... i drilled some new holes in the skid plate and it seems to be way better. Now just finish preping the motor mounts.. and then wiring.. hopefully be done by this weekend!
