Something is amiss, your transfer case output shouldn't be that far to the passenger side and the case looks to be clocked wrong...

Yes, clocked wrong.

What motor mounts are you using and do you have the transmission mount bolted to the skid plate?...

motor mounts are not in yet. the transmission is not fully bolted but it is with bolts and fully in the holes of the skid plate.

Now the holes are from the skid plate of the 2.5litre so I am not sure if they are the same.. it felt perfect just noticed that after.

its possible that the motor is not high enough as well if thats what you meant... its not in its place.. but the angle of the side to side portion of the t case is. that is what I am worried about

You need to get the motor mounted in place and take another picture...

You may need to try a different trans mount. Even though the trans and TC are the same the trans mount is different. What one are you using?

Sent from my phone where grammar isn't easy.

Garage
I know the XJ aw4 clocks the tcase differently than in a wrangler, likely the same with an XJ ax15, the wrangler has a flatter clocking setup.
