2.4l 6 speed axle ratio questions

I currently have 3.73 gears and i can't keep hwy speeds. I have 31" durtracks and am wanting to go to a 33" once I have enough cash for them. I'm and going to regear for the 33"s and put a Ox locker in the front. Planning on regearing and running the 31"s till they where out. Just trying to figure out what ratio I want to go. Any input is welcome

Use this. http://www.grimmjeeper.com/gears.html

4.56 gears with 33s and the NSG370 transmission are a great combo.

the lowest ratio you can go is 4.88, i assume your tj has the d30/d35 combination, they cost the same, you will have more power on the wheels.

You can go 5.13 now I wouldn't want that for the 2.4 and 6 spd combo though
