1998 TJ Sahara seats vs. SE seats

Saw this post from a while back and I am wondering the same thing.

I want to pick up some Iggee's for my 1998 Wrangler SE and Iggee has a nice deal on the front AND back covers but they list them as TJ SAHARA. After I read the above, I emailed Iggee and they say that the seat covers are only for the Sahara ... is this really true? If I go to their website they don't see Sahara specific seat covers ... only TJ covers.

Anyway, simply put: are there any non-cosmetic differences between seats in the Sahara and seats in the SE?

Do your seats look like these?

Iggee seat covers, TJ

The seats for the early models are all the same. It is just the material that varies. I have a Sport and the ebay ad said "Sahara." They fit perfectly. Great improvement.

If you check out Iggee's eBay store they have some great deals on front AND back covers for just a little more than the front covers alone.

Joe ... I think I must be missing something ... for which item are you referring? Other than the no returns part (which is sucky, of course) I am missing what you are implying here.

On ebay, Iggee will sometimes have a really good deal on a set of covers but it is for multi-colored set. Other ads will say "front covers only" while others will say "front and rear set" for the same "buy it now" price. The Iggee home page has the full price for a front only sets or front & rear sets which range from $245 to $495.

Yeah ... that is quite confusing on their eBay ad as they use the same text for all of their ads. If you keep reading then you'll eventually read that a given auction is for both front and back covers. But earlier in the ad you'll read that the frontx2 and rear are the same price and you should order twice. Well ... I am passing on the covers for now anyway and decided to get some nerf bars, brush guard, tow hooks, and fog lights before moving inside the TJ
