1997 tj 5sp tansfer case tubing mistake
I am such a dope. Hope some of the senior members get a laugh out this one....
When I reinstalled my radiator after a failed water pump, I was not paying attention when I was hooking up the resevoir tubing. I mistakingly hooked the coolant resevoir tube to the transfer case breather tube(?) well I only knew somthing was wrong when smelled cooland but only noticed traces of it and then realized that the tubing was incorrect. I now get a little sputter of transer case lube/oil out of the tube? How worried should i be and how quick should I change my coolant and manual transmisson fluid? Contamination? Mixing? ![]()

if it is the tube right next to the radiator, it is the front axle breather, the transfercase tube only comes up to the top of the transmission bell, you would have to work really hard to get it connected to the radiator.
