1" coil spacers on top of 2" springs

Here's the deal. Right now, I have 2" springs and a 1" BL and 1" MML. So far, I've been able to get away without significant vibes, and have only dropped the TC skid plate only about 1/4". If I were to put 1" coil spacers on top of my 2" springs, would I be pushing it over the line where I would have to get adjustable control arms, etc.? I recently put on some 6" pocket flares that were given to me (free! ) and they way they slope down, to me it looks like I lowered the Jeep! Besides, an extra inch higher can't hurt!

Here's the Jeep with the stock flares:

and here it is with the new flares (to ME, at least, it looks lower in this pic):

3" is right where you can start experiencing drivetrain (actually u-joint vibes on the driveshaft) vibrations. You'll need to either go to a full 1" t-case drop, a 1" taller motor mounts, or a SYE kit.

A 1" higher center of gravity can definately hurt you. The idea is to run the minimum amount of lift that will clear the tires under the conditions you wheel in. Some of us put up with a little mild tire rubbing rather than to lift it more than the minimum.

The higher Jeep handles worse, has a tendancy to rollover easier both onroad and offroad, often experiences faster tire wear, often has compromised braking, and will break more suspension pieces.

Lower is better.
