Well after much waiting I finally decided on a lift and ordered it. I went with the RE 4.5" superflex and swaped in the 3.5" springs. I also added and adj. rear trackbar and all adj. control arms.

Have been debating on taking off the shock boots. I have heard that they will hold dirt and mositure. Now all I need are some tires. Have yet to decide on either 33x10.50 or 33x12.50.

Today I came a step closer to the install of the lift. I bought a new air compressor and air tools as well as a better drill. I moved the spare tire to inside the jeep for now till i can get a tire carrier. I did not want to put a 33" tire on the tailgate.

well, since you don't have to worry about snow in SC (b/c a wider tire pushes while a skinnier tire "cuts" through), I would decide on what type of "look" you want. A 12.50 on an 8" wide wheel will buldge more.

today I adjusted the 4wd shift linkage. Now it shifts better than it did before the bodylift.

After I did the body lift the shifter was binding and was very hard to get in 4 hi much less 4 low. the shifter is now were it is suppose to be.

I wish i could take credit for just knowing how to do this but I learned it form a post bman9089 did. Thanks bman9089

Well today I am one step closer to doing the lift. I bought the tires and had them balanced only to find out that one of the rims came in bent from q tech. It will be my spare for now untill i can get a new wheel in. Over all they seem to have balanced well the guy said. It was a guy I deal with local that called me about five times during the balancing process to update with what was going on. All that is left now to buy is a good drill bit and some brake bleeding supplies......and of course my vacation coming up the week of the 18-24. My 2 year anniversary is on the 20th so i have the 16-19th to do the lift. Here are a few pictures of the tires they are 33x12.50 Mastercraft MT's. I wanted BF goodrich MT's or Cooper SST's but it was a $400 difference for the set of 5. I will up date you guys in a week with my progress.

I painted the wheel weights on all the wheels except the bent wheel which just so happens to be the one turned around.
And of course my male pointer mad at me for bring home the tires and not him a lady friend dog to "play with".
