Where'd you get your speedo gear? Now that you've mentioned it, I'd kinda like to know how fast I'm going too

You can get it from your dealer. Just take them the part# you need. They may not have the size you need but they can order it and have it in a day or two. The guy at the parts counter(at my dealer) argued with me and was rude so i took my business else where. So I bought mine from Quadratec (which i hated to pay shipping but did not want to give the dealer my $)

Arguing with a customer over buying a part?! If you don't mind me asking, why would he argue with you?

P.S.- thanks for the tip!

Well the part # that went with the speedo gear did not match my year model and make. Basically No LJ came with a 31 tooth gear so he was telling me it would not fit.

Today I took on two problems. The first was to take care of where the tie rod was hitting the swaybar link bracket.

To do this I cut a small 1/4" flat bar and drilled two holes to raise the swaybar link up about 2".

I then ground down the stock swaybar bracket to clear the tie rod.

My other problem was that the swaybar links that came with my lift were about 2" two short. So while raising the links to clear the tie rod it also solved my problem of the short links.

After sanding it down good and a good coat of primer I have it back on the jeep (the grill overlay that was chipping bad because of my poor prep last time)

Installed my front riddler diff cover on Saturday. I also cut my front bumper down a little bit. I did this really for looks only and to kill time before the race started. I hope to be ordering a AA sye and TW drive shaft soon with some sort of tummy tuck.

Today I removed my old back up lights 2 55W driving lights and replaced them with some flush mounted 7watt (I think) incandescent bulb. They are still installed with a spdt switch with a relay so I can either turn them on when I want or just when it is put in reverse. My next project is to install these same lights on my boat trailer and install a flat 5 pin trail harness on the jeep so I can see to back the boat down the ramp on those early duck hunting mornings.

Looks more like a expensive part buy and bolt on then a true build. But one of the best looking TJ's I like. I'd swap them axles soon. And don't buy them cheep ruby 44s.

BULACH RACING!

More Jeeps and parts then I know what to do with.
