06 TCM location

I'm curious where they moved the TCM to on the 06's. I did the metalcloak fenders a few weeks ago and noticed that I didn't have the TCM on the fenders like other 42rle jeeps do. anyone know where they stuffed it? I also noticed that there was no battery temp sensor under the battery tray as well.

Its integratred in to the PCM on the firewall by the battery.

That is why Jeep uses the term PCM.

Its a powertrain control module rather than just an engine control module (ECM).

Count the number of plugs on the PCM. All TJ's up until they integrated the TCM into the PCM for the 42 RLE, had 3 plugs. Now those particular models have 4.

What do you call the ones that control the torque convertor lock-up and get input from the VSS?

Last I checked, they were right in front of the brake booster.
