I don't know where to start, thanks everyone for the awesome comments, I am humbled indeed! Let's see, green with envy, that is great!! Jeepguy, here is a link to the LED store, I used the 10mm bolt lights, just scroll down 3/4 of the page:

http://www.superbrightleds.com/mini_tubes.htm

Hayseed, and everyone else, thanks a million! I like those genright fenders, however I think I am going to go with a diy version like the ones from Sniper fab works, I want to sink in the led's and if I can start with out the tubes being welded yet, I can run the wires inside the tubes. And finally, 37k on the odometer!

Sniper fab is a good choice, cheap and great products and customer service, I have their full corners

On my previous TJ I was one of the lucky ones that ordered a set of SRC tube fenders, they were the complete fenders and cost $299 including shipping, now that those are no where to be found, I am on the hunt! The Sniper fab ones look great, and it's good to hear about their great customer service!

On another note, I just got off the phone with a guy that is selling a Ramsey profile 8000 winch cheap, he has it listed in our local white sheet for $250 obo, he indicated that the knob that is used to unlock the spool for freewheeling is broke off, other than that he says that it is in great shape and has only been used a handful of times. Tomorrow morning I am going to go and check it out!

Kudo's to you Gunkel for saving an LJ destined for the scrap heep. A truley professional build with amazing attention to detail. From one LJ owner to another, I salute you!

A professionally sprayed bedliner is one of the next mods that I want to do to my LJ, and I have found a Line X dealer that does great work and will do it for a reasonable price.

I was looking closely at your photo's and I see that you sprayed completely around the area where the soft top attaches to the tub, and the entire door sill. Another picture shows the soft top installed. Any issues with the top going back on or use of full hard doors? I would like to have my Jeep sprayed exactly the same way.

My best guess for the fire was an aftermarket cruise control module that was mounted under the hood, and a wire running from the positive side of the battery, into the aftermarket loom and through the firewall, the wire was not fused. Other than that, hard to tell. Jeepinsoldier, no problem at all with regards to the soft top, I have not installed doors yet, however on my previous jeep that I sprayed the same material on, there were no issues with fitment.

New bumpers are on my list!

Pics of the winch I picked up, and of the new Goodyear 37x12.50x15 MTR's that arrived today!!! Now hopefully all the planets will align correctly and my lift will arrive before the weekend!

that was a steal for that winch, now after you install you should go ahead and install an in cab winch control

and if that big blue lift is at your house, I envy more than just your jeep
