This thread easily deserves a crawl.

Panic, yes, the new JK color Rescue green. Nwoods, I am up to $1771.25 in parts from the donor vehicles, plus another $150 from the seats yesterday. So right now I am into it for about $5000. Plus another $3100 for the long arm kit, ds, sye, shocks, etc. and another $1200 for the tires..My wife does not need to see these numbers!!

mrblaine, mostly just manage the guys/jobs now, however I started at the very bottom and worked my way up the ladder, learning whatever I could along the way!!

glad I stumbled on this thread... wow I love that LJ!

I really don't like the JK's, but the color definately fits your jeep.

You should make a half cage and top, a new jeepster it would be! (I saw one today for the first time in a while, it was in superb condition... man do I love jeep trucks!)

OMG... ah I feel a pun coming on... I hate puns... I'm GREEN with envy!

Gawd, this is going to be a gorgeous Jeep! I usually don't like LJ's, and I usually don't like Rescue Green, but this Jeep is easily turning into one of the most beautiful rigs on the net!

Gunkel, few things have ever made me jealous, your budget built LJ is definitely one of them. Am I jealous of the relatively small amount of money you've spent your rig? No. The fact it already looks better than stock and you haven't even put the lift and new meats on yet? No. My jealousy eminates from the idea that you were able to take a burned up hull of one of the last 4.0L Wranglers to be made, essentially perform a frame-off restoration and turn it into this magnificent, Rescue Green jewel by yourself. I only hope that I can one day experience the pride you must feel knowing YOU built YOUR ride, YOUR way. Maybe one day I'll have the resources and facilities available to attempt what you've done...hands-on, all the way. Awesome work on an awesome Jeep, man!

Excuse me for a second while I pick my jaw up off the floor. That's shaping up to be a beautiful rig. My hat's off to you.

again, amazing build

GenRight's highline fenders are full replacement, so no cutting would be needed... they finally posted the pics of their TJ version and me likey...
