05 Rubi gears on an 06 non-Rubi?

Will a set of 4.10 gears from an 05 Rubi Unlimited fit in an 06 non-Rubi Unlimited. They are both Dana 44's. The only reason I'm asking is that the Rubi has a locking differential and the non rubis have lsd. Also, is the front differential on the 06 unlimited the same as the rear? Have a chance to get a set of 4.10's and was wondering if they will work. Thanks in advance......

The Unlimited has a Dana 44 rear and a Dana 30 front. Only the Rubicon has the matching pair of 44s.

The front diff in a non-rubi unlimited is a Dana 30, so the front gears would not work

I don't think the rear gears would work in a non-rubi D44. Don't those use a dfferent R&P? I know Randy's has a different part number for them.

OK, the front is a D30 and rear is D44. Would they fit the rear?? Obviously I would have to then purchase ones for the front seperate.

If you have a Rubi carrier handy, yes they'd work. If not, they're thick cut gears and I don't believe they'll fit in a standard d44.

No. The Rubi carrier and the regular 44 carrier are different. The gear sets are not interchangable.

Thanks guys, I'm going to have to go another route for gear. It's to bad too, because I could have the gears for both axles for under $100.
