04 SE build up plan

I will be installing the RE BB someime in the next week or so. So I came up with a plan of running the REBB, a 1" body lift, a Nth Mobility TT, and a dew drive shaft. My question is, I want to keep this my DD and with a new baby on the way, I need to keep it down on cost. I was looking at the hack and tap vs. the SYE. I will be only running 33" tires, and I dont plan on going any bigger for a couple of years(will be broke with new kid). Will the hack and tap cut it or should I go with the full SYE, for the setup i mentioned... Thanks for all the help!

I have the RE BB on my 01 SE. I am also running 31's with 4.10 in the axle with 5speed manual. Around town driving is not too bad, however on hills or the freeway speed and acceleration is kinda sad. I only use 5th once I get to around 63mph and only if it is flat or slightly uphill. But around town and at stop lights your initial get up and go is not bad at all I can almost chrip off line. I dont do that though because of breakage but you know what I mean. My 31's stuff nicely with the BB, if you go with 33's you'll have to really watch hard flex because you'll most likely rub.

I don't have a BL but even if you did with 33's you'd hit your fenders.

I have 31's on it already and have no problem hitting 70-80 on the freeway. I drive 25 miles each way to work with no problems. After i get 33's i wont care about hitting any high speeds. Jeeps are made to go slow and climb

Your jeep must be faster. Let us know the difference once you get your 33's then.

don't forget the speedo re-gear

4 banger 4.10's and 33" LOL! I can't even think of that combo where I live cause of mountains hills. I'm just getting by with 225's. Good luck! George
