will an 04 fit in a 99 dash? my after market broke on me, the factory cd player plays cds when it wants too (quite annoying) and I don't want an after market one again. Guy is selling stocker from his 04 and just wanted to know.

You'd need a wire harness from Mopar and a new Dash bezel to get it to fit.

no it will not, as you can see from the previous post the shapes are not the same.

A 2000-2002 will though. I put a 2001 in my 99' for the CD player which was better than my stock radio. But I wouldn't waste my money on that if I were you. Just go after market. I sold the 2001 radio and installed a Pioneer, the model that's made to fit the stock opening. I highly recommend it. Aftermarket speakers make a huge difference as well.

They will interchange, but you have to use the newer style dash bezel which requires you to use the newer style switch pod and the make some modifications to use the newer style vents. As others have said it would be alot cheaper and eaiser to go aftermarket on the stereo than it would to convert it to 03-06 radio styles.
