03 Jeep TJ noise?

I have a faint knock/ click noise when rolling up to a redlight( low speed less than 10 mph. You only here it at lower speeds. It sounds like a older car speedo cable click. Any ideas? Thanks everyone!

Take out the front drive shaft and see if it goes away...

It would be nice if you could isolate it a little more. Have a friend duplicate your actions, while you stand outside and listen for where the noise is coming from--- front, back, left side, right side etc.

Crawl under the jeep and wiggle the driveshafts. There should be no play. Also wiggle the two front axle shafts, there should be no play.

I didnt get a chance to take the drive shaft off today, however I just rebuilt all of them a few weeks ago including the centering yoke.

Have you rebuilt a driveshaft with a DC joint before?

Also, for future discussions it helps if you fill in your profile...
