Looks awesome, how come you didn't just put a fuel cell in the back?

I agree on the I6.. it should give you tons of torque with that gearing. I don't think you'll be running 75mph on the highway much though. :P

A fuel cell would have worked well too. I went with the Genright kit because it required less creativity on my part, bolted in nicely, and gave me the space I wanted for the 60.

How did all the GenRight stuff go in - did you have any issues with any parts? Was the fit good, or did you need to modify any parts to make it smoother? I've been seriously considering their kit with the Clayton lift, so any insight would be a huge help. This has been very helpful for me in my decisions, as you went with the same combo I've been tossing around. How much time do you have in the lift and GenRight combo (all the stuff minus the axles and steering basically)?

Props to an awesome build, btw!!

The genright stuff went much better than I expected. Everything fit nicely and was done quite quickly. Aside from cutting the front edge of the rocker guards to fit with my poison spyder front tube fenders, everything went together right out of the box. If I had started with an unadulterated tub, everything genright would have been done in a days time without rushing.

The Clayton setup is very cool and I'm glad I went with the rear double triangulated stretch but is a little more time consuming and thought provoking. Clayton's single triangulated system would have been even simpler to do since you wouldnt have to worry about t-case tail clearance.

I honestly can't remember how much time I spent. I'm still married so it must not be too much.

What caster and pinion angles did you order from Solid on the front D60?

I can wait to start my Genright stretch! I have all of the stuff now but I have to clear room in the shop.

Looks Great! Nice Axle!

Big thanks to the guys at Stak 4x4 and Northridge4x4

The 3 speed case is monstrous, which explains why they call it the Monster box. Not long at ~13 but very tall. Looks like I'll have some BFH time into the floor.

I didn't have to do any BFH'n when I installed mine. But I have a 1 1/2" body lift too. But I think my skid palte tucks up more than yours too.

Rarely post here much anymore, but that is one hell of a build! You are a lucky and smart man. Very well laid out project.

Played with the stak tonight.

Case needs to come out another time or two yet but some progress was made. Did a fair amount of work with the BFH but the driver side still needs about another inch of clearance. Ultimately, I may end up needing a 1" BL. I'll give her hell again tomorrow and see.

Rear parking/pinion brake may need to go. Depending on how everything lines up once the case is fully tucked in, the rotor might not clear the rear clayton crossmember. The case will fit just fine, but the brake may not make the final build. This is where the single triangulated suspension would have been easier than going the double triangulated (with rear crossmember). Hopefully the ride of the double out shines the headache of working around the crossmember it needs.

1" BL and M.O.R.E motor mounts... easy, cheap and less BFH time.
