Update:

I love this thing.

Went out to Howiepalooza with my 7 y/o son last weekend. This year's wheeling event & birthday party was hosted by SMORR (Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch -- smorr.net). It's a 900 acre OHV park just south of Seymour Missouri with terrain ranging from 1/5 to 5/5 in difficulty. This place is amazing and can challenge any level rig from stocker to comp buggy. There were a couple hundred rigs ranging from competing R-Rock buggies to stock JKs, full size blazers to doved Early Broncos. My rig walked some trails and broke on others. In other words, we had a blast. I wish I had gotten more vids and pics but I figure that's more incentive to had back there as soon as possible.

This vid is my favorite and shows my two runs down Doe Skid which is a short but wild 5/5 line: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMk-cw9S1SA

My carnage: I broke 1 rear Tom Woods drive shaft & its 1350 u joint, bent my passenger Genright rocker tube, lost two belly bolts on the driver side (had to weld the skid to the frame trail side to keep going), and a few new dents/scratches here and there.

Couple more vids:

Pics and Vids don't do SMORR justice.

Went out to Iron Range in Northern Minnesota for Memorial weekend. Some people will remember Iron range from Peterson's Ultimate Adventure in 2004.

The rocks look to be in the same place.

It's a very cool place.

My jeep worked well but it showed me I need to reinforce my front upper control arm mounts a little better.

Minnesotans are a great bunch of folks but they do things a little different up north. This was hanging outside the local town bar.

wheeling on my lunch hour

Advanced Suspension Design has a shop just down the street from where I work. They have built a small rock crawl on their property for their customers to enjoy. It's just too perfect not to wheel on my lunch hour.

Swapped out my full steel doors for some blinging aluminum doors from Advanced Suspension Design. The weight difference is amazing. My jeep lost 70 pounds just by switching doors and I still get some leg protection.

I like those doors. I have the warrior half doors. I like those doors better.

I like their latch better than the latch that the warrior doors use because I have to change out the latches every time.

One recommendation I have about the doors is get some door ding protectors. It will keep them from rattling and scraping the door jam. I used the clear rubber strips that you can get at a local auto parts store. To go from the bottom of the front hinge to the back side takes about 2 of the standard strips.

You could build something like these, or buy these Warrior Products WAR1520 - Warrior Products Soft Upper Half Door Brackets for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ & Unlimited - Quadratec so you could run soft uppers if you wanted.

Thanks. The front tube fenders are the old poison spyder 3"ers ( I think I put them on in 04?). They are very similar to the genrights though and Tony's stuff at genright is very well put together.

Those doors are awesome man. I tried to check their site but it's pretty weak, and not designed for ecommerce. Oh well. I'm sure Savvy will roll something out eventually.

"LCOG" isn't cheap and it certainly isn't easy. If you think so, you are doing it wrong. If you aren't willing to put in the effort, don't label your build "LCOG". You are just a cheap ******bag.
