My wife did that twice! She is now no longer allowed to drive it, so she said I have to get her one.

Haha that happened to me... I was on a busy street and stuck in neutral, couldn't get the thing back on and freaked out. I rolled onto a side street and got it back on. I got a new clip from offroad motorsports here in wichita kansas for just $10. It was pretty cool, the owner really knows jeeps. I showed him the broken clip and he knew exactly what it was on first glance.

Some say the glass is half empty, Some say the glass is half full, I say "are you gonna drink that?"

its kinda scary the first few times that it happens especially because I have only had the rig for a week now lol. Im driving it as much as possible to find all the little quirks and thats the only one that really bugs. These are fun rides for sure though!!!

When your friends scratch their heads and ask what's holding the body to the frame (1st jeep when I was 17). You later find out its more stupid luck holding it together than the 25 yards of duct tape and mile of bailing wire that you later remove while "checking things out".

What can happen, will happen. Usually at the least opportune time!

Had that happen.... Multiple times. One shifter arm later and it still happened. Added threaded metal to it and considered welding more onto the arm if it occurred again. Must be a Jeep thing...
