dont know if this has been said already! when you have to keep explaining to people that a CJ is not a freaking wrangler!!! and they keep referring to it as a wrangler!!

and!!! and this is a true story!! when you stop at traffic lights and people look at you instead of the red Ferrari 360 spyder in front of you!!

When people say things like "you could have bought a newer one for less money than you are spending to fix THAT!" And you can only respond "BUT THEN IT WOULDNT BE A CJ!"

Or that it wouldn't be able to perform as good as a stock CJ. CJ's only need mirrors so that the driver can see how far back on the trail that the pseudo Jeeps are. Hence why I'm getting a CJ soon.

When someone calls you a nutter and you are proud to reach in your pocket and show them your jeep key.

Man this is great that there are so many of us that have the same experiences, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Oh and how about this one, when you go on long drives your wife or girl friend drives so you can look in every back yard, for round headlites, or something recognizable CJ, and yell stop, quick and give them cardiac arrest.

When you...

...tell people they will have to pry the keys out of your cold, dead fingers before you will sell it...

...or that you would sell your wife before you would sell your Jeep - (while she is standing there)...

About a block from my house, while stopped at a stop sign at an intersection I pass though daily, I noticed a bolt laying there about 6" long. I jumped out and picked it up to see if I recognized it from the Jeep.

How many other drivers would be concerned that that bolt had fallen off of their car?
And how many others would actually know where it came from if it did?

CJ drivers are a strange bunch....

When you get offended when other Jeeps don't return the wave and your XJ driving friend just doesn't get it.

When you read this guys post, and thought about placing random CJ bolts all over his neighborhood to worry him, and or make him think someone else near by has a cj.

When there is a topless Scout II in the parking lot at work and you fold down the windshield on your CJ to one-up him.
