I've started taking pictures of the odometer with my camera phone to record the mileage. Here's mine:

"You know you drive CJ when you see the shiny reflection of the sun in every reflective street and highway sign you pass."

I never have figured out this phoenomenon but CJ's seem to be the only vehicle that has the windshield at the proper angle to produce this effect.

....when you get to the bottom of the freeway off ramp and because it's now so "quite", your 11 year old daughter says, "Did it die?"

I dont know if this one has been posted, if so its a refresh, but since I took the top and doors off last month this time, I have had lots of ppl just talking to me out of the blue. Apparently there are tons of ppl that own CJs in this area, I just happen to not see them...ever! And everyone has apparently owned one in their life time. I seem to be the only CJ on the road any time, I see alot of TJs, xjs, and all them other mall goers that are always on the cell phone and tops and doors on, and they never look up from the highway to wave. Ugh, A guy in a TJ waved at me, I refused to wave back, but I gave in after he passed me and waved.

Is it just that the CJ's windshield is perfectly flat?

Your "down the road" neighbor pulls up with some rusted out front calipers and says, "I found these laying in the backyard... you can always use them for a core"!

you just took your hardtop off for the Summer season and you are currently staring out the window at work looking at your CJ in the parking lot in a downpour...

You get pulled over by a total stranger in a driving rainstorm and end up getting invited to drive the Cj in the 4th of July parade... and getting soaked while talking for 15 minutes about Tom, Richard and Harry's vintage jeeps and Jeepsters around town..

You know you own a CJ when you have to go through a series of "coaxing" to get the Heep started in the morning:

Stage 1 (early departure): Come on baby, come on baby, you know you want to....

Stage 2 ( on time departure): PLease please please start Insert Jeep name here........

Stage 3 (10 minutes late): Why won't you start!!? What the!? I just replaced the Battery, starter, alternator, filled you with gas, and washed you yesterday! Why are you doing this to me!!

Maybe its just me that has these stages in a CJ???
