You know you drive a CJ when...

When it's snowed 4 inches in Kansas and everyone who has gone in the ditch flags you down for help....

I see this all the time, and it's not just CJ's any Lifted Jeep will get flagged. It's funny, I am moving along at safe speeds and someone in a Ricer will zip passed me and give me dirty looks. About a mile later, I see them flagging me down from the Ditch...it's a Quick $40...lol

Happy Holidays!

Thought about it today as I am working all the way across the country. Then I ran across this text from textsfromlastnight and laughed because heck I've done it before...

(719): 3 inches of snow, below zero windchill and i just saw a dude in a wrangler with no doors, shorts a beanie and burton snow goggles. God i love college in colorado

Now I know they say Wrangler but you never know. It may have been a CJ.

...when you are driving on hard packed snow and the rear end cuts loose and before you know it, you have spun 540 and are pointed out from the opposite side of the road. You look at your passenger that is completely freaked and say "That was fun!". Thank goodness there were no oncoming cars.

^^^ I get that a lot too and my response is usually, you're free to come help anytime you want. I've done about 98% of my build by myself. Would be much faster with an extra set of hands every once in a while.

when forum memebers get so frustrated with your build efforts not working (distributor problem) that they mail you parts to get it running - you install them and in less than 5 min solve a 3 month problem cause it starts right up

Thanks again John N, distributor works great.

And you go shopping for a low profile wheel. It works, trust me!

Or you wonder why you dont feel as comfortable as you did 28 years ago and 40 lbs lighter in your firsy CJ.

When you ask for a fourth set of used Ford tires/rims for Christmas, and your wife can't understand why you'd want those for a Jeep.
I did change my mind, though. I really need a set of studded snows, not another set of pre-mounted pre-broken in mudders. Too much ice on the local roads this year.
I do like all the F150 guys selling off their extra wheelsets, though. Hoping one of them has a set of good studded snows, locally.
