When your whole family has driven Jeeps since the '70s, & your little sister can go all "rain man" on the guy at the parts counter. "I don't care what your computer says, I WANT part #.....".

Instead of using your mirrors, you turn your head since there's no roof or doors to block your view.

That's how I do it. I don't have a windshield mirror, and my side mirrors are both broken and held together with silicone because they have been beaten off on everything in the woods, multiple times. I have no choice but to look over my shoulders.

P-monkey "Sir, I'm not showing a power steering option for that year".
Me: 'You make custom hoses here, right?"
PM "...UHM yeah, sometimes"
Me "OK Junior, grab your tape measure & follow me!".
Out in the lot:
ME: "NO, there is no hood latch, it's a 1 piece nose....coming at you"!

When its so muddy inside and out you actually can't tell what the original color is... Happened last week, my friend came over, she walked around the CJ wide eyed.. And said "i can't even tell what color it is, you covered every square inch of it" Haha! I need to post some pics,

I am sure someone has mentioned...but...

When your "CJ-7" is actually a YJ-CJ-5/7-Wrangler-GMC-Ford; or when the only thing original, unmodified, restored, is the emblem!
