Yep! Actually a minimum of 2 cars, so you have one for her and 2 for the CJ plus spare parts and tools! Make sure she gets one so that she can't gripe about you taking up both stalls.

That's exactly right. When we moved we found a place with his and hers garages. 2 car attached for her 2 car detached for me. I still end up stealing one of her bays.

By next year I'm going to turn a 1 bed, 1 bath 480sq/ft house with 2 car garage into 2 2car garages!!! We still live in the other house on the property which already has a 2 car garage!! lol Not to mention river front property and its 0.7acres!! The front yard is about 1/4acre itself which is where we burn brush and boxes (from all the parts deliveries for both of my Jeeps) and still plenty of room to do donuts in the yard after it rains, lol.

My wife joked the other day that I need a 4 car garage and shop with an attached house. Currently have a 3 car with me using about 70% for my rebuild. Got me thinking that when the last kid graduates in 2 years, it might be time to move a bit north and build. Scale back the 3800sqft to something smaller and larger.

...when all of your "reliable" vehicles are sitting in the yard and the CJ is the only thing working. Oh wait, that's backwards.

We just got done with our shop. It is a 1000 sq/ft and then we have a two car garage where mom can park the Audi and we have the boat in there too.
Now in the shop we have the cj5 waitin for me to bend all the brake lines and get her rotors.
And on the other stall we have the yj rock crawler that I need to start fabbin suspension mounts for. That shop is gettin too small. But it is made out of 80% scrap. Only thing not scrap was the siding and 90% of the roof panels.

LOL yes I do. I work on cars for a living and always love seeing those oddball problems and hearing the stories behind them. Just yesterday I saw my first bent strut. Bent so bad the tire had about 1/4" of space between it and the strut body.

I know the feeling. Started working on small engines with grandpa when I was about 5 or 6 and went to college for automotive technician. I now have 2 Jeeps and can't leave well enough alone lol. I always have to tweak something on the Jeeps, lol. Tweak, customize, modify, and improve.

Haha it was really pretty uneventful. Just a little bang and no drive. Lol. I flat towed it up to Lancaster PA to Lime Street Carriage. If you've never heard of them and you own a CJ or just love them check these guys out!

The tan 45 cj2a is mine.

Under restoration consecutive serial number CJ5's

Tux Park Cj5's.

Oops,,,

Hahaha

Adjusting my valves,

Roached bushing, bearings and bent the steering column shaft.

Apparently my Pilot bushing fell out which lead to my clutch plate shattering. Lol I put 15,000 miles in this jeep a year.

I wish we had some cool places like that out here for Jeeps. Lots of places with cool old cars but no Jeeps to speak of.
